John Zumpano Obituary
Mr. John (Babe) Zumpano, 66, of New Hartford, passed away on November 19, 2015 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
John was born in Utica, on November 29, 1948, the son of Joseph F. and Marion F. (Elder) Zumpano, and received his education in local schools. He was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Zumpano is survived by three brothers, Joseph Zumpano and Mary Witte, of Manlius, NY, Salvatore and Erin Zumpano, of Cold Brook, NY, and Donald and Carlene Zumpano, of FL; as well as 11 nieces and nephews; and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
Services and entombment in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum were held at the convenience of the family.

Mr. Zumpano's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the medical team at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown for the wonderful care you provided to John.

Babe was a wonderful guy when going to Proctor High School and loved by many of the girls. We only knew him by Babe and not John. I am in shock to learn that he has past. Just learned of johns passi ng. We were neighbors for many years at Parkview and I enjoyed knowing him. I pray for a peace for John with his God that he did not have here.
