Martin Martinez Obituary
UTICA - Martin Martinez, Jr., 30, died on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.
He was born on November 12, 1990, in Utica, a son of Martin Martinez, Sr. and Ana Maldonado. Martin graduated from Proctor High School in 2008 and attended MVCC. He worked at Masonic Care Community and St. Luke's Home.
With his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was camping and fishing. He also loved listening to music while fixing cars and cutting hair in his spare time and on long days, he loved to drive his car around town.
He is survived by his mother, Ana Maldonado; step-father, Luis Medina; father, Martin Martinez, Sr.; wife, Stephanie Mercado; children, Javien Martin Martinez and Elisia Mariana Martinez; siblings, Richi Nadal, Kevin Medina and his wife, Aneyia and Cynthia Medina; father-in-law, Wilfredo Mercado and his wife, Jessica; mother-in-law, Maribel Nieves and her husband; Goddaughter, Avery Clair Margaret Decoursey; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Stefan Medina; and uncle, Pedro Maldonado.
The services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.

I would say Martin was the kindest person and care giver that I know.Whenever he was on my unit he would always stop in to say hello and ask how are you doing Mary.Martin you were one in a million.May God bless you and keep you in his arms.I will miss you and PRAY that GOD watches over your family
