Avtar Sibia

SIBIA, Avtar July 2, 1935 - December 29, 2009 Passed away peacefully with his family by his bedside on December 29, 2009 at Surrey Memorial Hospital. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Rajinder Kaur and children Par (Paula), Jasbir (Parminder) and Lisa (Charn). Avtar was a cherished grandfather to Jennifer (Barinder), Jason, Sonia, Tarnpaul, Angela and Justin. Avtar's compassion, generous heart and unforgettable smile will be dearly missed by all. The Sibia family would like to thank all of the staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital for their compassion and support during his stay. The funeral will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 11am at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 - 72nd Ave, Surrey, B.C. A prayer service will follow at the India Cultural Center at 8600 No. 5 Road, Richmond, BC at 1pm. In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
