Bruno DURKSEN Obituary
February 7, 1935 – July 20, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, husband, brother, uncle and friend. Predeceased by his wife, Reine, he will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Sondra, Camille (Brian), his niece Jania (Julius); granddaughter Caeli; brother Carl (Mary), sister Shirley (Waldy) brothers-in-law, John (Rita), Gus (Mandy) and Lorne (Joanne). He will also be missed by many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. We will take solace in the memories of a life well-lived and on his terms. Of picnics, day-long Halloween preparations and the welcoming feel of the family home. May the train you caught be filled with those who went before you and the bar car serve the perfect martini. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. For those wishing to attend, please contact the following email: [email protected]. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army Rotary Hospice House in Richmond.
