Frances Jean Plasman

January 9, 1928 - August 1, 2017

Frances passed away at Royal Columbian Hospital on August 1, 2017 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Laura Spackman, husband Henry, sisters Mary Wright and Hazel Van der Est, brother Harry in WW II, granddaughter Joyce and great grandson Aiden. She is survived by 9 children, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mom grew up in Burquitlam and lived on Cameron Road until she moved to Coquitlam in 1966. She was an active member of Como Lake United Church for many years. Mom was known for her generosity, especially to those less fortunate, her self-sacrifice, hard work, kindness and unconditional love for her family and friends. She spent the last six years at Christmas Manor where she made many new friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and close friends. Rest in Peace Mom - We love you.
