Kirk CODRON Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on Sep. 19, 2013.
CODRON, Kirk
February 23, 1955 - September 4, 2013
Our beloved dad, son, and brother died peacefully at the age of 58. Predeceased by his father Hedie (2013) and brother David (1982). Survived by his loving mother Joyce, his son Matthew (Nermine), siblings Mark (Ann Everett*), Eric (Cheryl), Alix (Les), Michele (Gary) and Rose (Norm) and several nieces and nephews. After graduating from Saint Thomas More High School, he went on to have a distinguished career as a Burnaby Firefighter, retiring as a Captain in 2003. Also a talented and skilled tradesman, he finished every project to 110%. His keen intellect and lively conversations will be greatly missed. May he finally rest in peace.

Our sympathy come your way. Death seem so final, but the promise that Almighty gives is by means of his Son, Jesus Christ which is a guarantee of life lived again. 1 Corinthians 17:31

To all Kirks family and friends I send my sympathy, and regrets at being on the other side of the country when the service for Kirk took place. I worked with Kirk for our whole careers in the BFD we worked on different shifts but often we would work together by arrangement. If there is one thing a Firefighter appreciates it is someone you can trust when you are going into dark dangerous places. Kirk was a
Firefighter I would want backing me up when the going got tough.
Kirk provided Exemplary Service to the Citizens of Burnaby.
Rest in Peace
