Krishna Jit Obituary
JIT _ Krishna November 11th, 1942 - August 6th, 2006 We sadly announce the passing of Krishna Jit, born in Suva, Fiji on November 11, 1942. After a long brave struggle with cancer Krishna succumbed peacefully on August 6th, 2006. She leaves behind her loving husband of forty-four years of marriage, Anar Jit. Krishna is also survived by her son Sonny; his wife Sarita, and grandchildren Kushant, Sanjay, and Tasha. She also leaves her daughter Madhu, son-in-law John and her sister Sheila and brother-in-law Kamleshwar. The family would like to extend special thanks for all the love and kindness that helped through this difficult period. This includes Lions Gate Hospital's Palliative Care Unit, The Cancer Society of B.C., and all our family and friends as well as the wonderful people Krishna worked with. Mama Jit will always be remembered for her love for others. She made it her business to see that others were happy. Her generosity of spirit knew no bounds. Krishna's service is at 12:00 noon, Thursday, August 10th, 2006 at Riverside Funeral Home, 7410 Hopcott Road, Delta. B.C. Phone 604-940-1313. Mum We Love You And We Will Miss You Forever.

Dear Motu,
I can't even begin to tell how much I miss and love you. I don'tknow how my life will carry on with ou you. The twickle in my eye is gone buy hopefully one day will retun. I love you forever..May God Bless You. Love Madhu

To our dearest Bhadki Amma,
You were one of the strongest woman I knew, and one of the greatest cooks!
We are really going to miss you, as you were always there in the good times and especially in the hard times. You taught all of your daughters to be tough, head strong and say whats on our minds. am I especially going to miss all of your jokes in hindi, and your smart come backs. Thank you for being a great role model and mother figure to us. We will always remember you and pray for you to be in eternal peace. May god bless you.
