Catherine and family
My heartfelt condolences on the sudden loss of David, what an incredible shock. He gave me my first accounting job and provided an invaluable knowledge base that has served me since. You're in my thoughts.

My heartfelt condolences to David's friends & family. I knew him as a client, but was always treated as a friend. He was a kind and patient man - always making the time and showing an interest in me personally as well as professionally. I'll miss him - both as a dedicated professional, and as a fellow human being.

I'm so very sorry to hear of David's untimely death. It must have been a terrible shock for his family and friends to have David, a man in his prime, suddenly taken away. If it's any consolation, I believe he is in a good place and will continue to look after those he loved and cared about, including (like me) his clients from Vancouver Bookkeeping. We will miss you very much David...

I was very shocked and sad to hear of the passing of David. I had heard about David's passing through a friend that I had reccomended to David for his business bookkeepping needs. I couldn't believe how sad I was....I have know him since 1992 just for my taxes and I realized I didn't even know if he was married, had kids or what. I will miss him very much. Tax season will never be the same.

When David took over the business I was so afraid of him because he was so big and tall. I'm Asian and I didn't like him at all and I was worried that he might be racist and terminate my employment. That was over 13 years ago. In all those years, David had shown me nothing but kindness. Always calm even when I occassionaly cause trouble in the office. He understood my need to vent and have even reffered to himself as Father David. I've been selfish but he didn't seem to mind. I wasn't able to express how much I appreciate him and so I take this opportunity to THANK him for putting up with me and being a brotherlike maybe even a fatherlike. He will be missed a lot.

I also like to take this opportunity to thank the Akhurst Family for all their kindness. My thoughts are with you all and in my prayers in this time of sorrow.
