FRANCIS JUDGE Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province from Feb. 17 to Feb. 20, 2015.
JUDGE, Francis (Frank) Wilfred
July 20, 1923 – February 6, 2015
At this time, I would like to say, I have been fortunate to have many memories as follows:
- My childhood, including my parents, grandparents and brothers John and Crawford.
- My days delivering for the pharmacy in the snow in cold Winnipeg, attending the University of Manitoba, serving with the armed forces during World War II and attending Harvard University; during these times, I acquired many lifelong friends.
- My accomplishments in the sports world playing basketball, running and jumping and qualifying for preliminary trials for the 1948 Olympics, didn't make it, but so enjoyed the competition.
- My family with my wife, Bonnie, (who left us 10 years ago) and all our adventures over fifty plus years, our daughters Anne, Maureen, Barbara and Martha, our sons Frank Jr., Mike, Ted and Peter, our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
- My family with my wife, Marilyn, who has given me great happiness and lots of laughter, her son, Noel and my additional grandchildren.
- My business life with Canadian Cottons, tenure as a Professor at Queen's University, executive consultant and partner with Booze Allen introduced me to leaders of both industry and government throughout North America and Europe.
Finally, I would like to thank all who have made life such a remarkable journey.
Aloha

Frank was a great friend to my father, Dr.Albert Menzies. They both loved basketball and enjoyed watching many NBA games on the TV together. I remember Frank as always being such a warm, intelligent presence; a very kind man who was always interested in others. He brought so much value to his time on earth. May he rest in peace.
