I just heard the news of Peters passing today. 4 years late. Peter was a good friend but we lost touch over the years. We wrote our captains papers together and then Peter joined Fisheries for a while so we plied the waters of North and Central coast together. Ill miss ol Crusty. Im still quite shocked at the news. Rest Well Peter.

We are tied to the ocean, And when we go back to sea,
Whether it is to sail or to watch-we are going back from
whence we came.

Goodbye Peter. As a former resident of the Brown household in the 70's, I remember both you and Andrea as devoted soulmates. You'll be missed by all who crossed your path.

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.
