Fred H. Malzacher, 81, passed away on October 7, 2018 at 9:20am at the "Malzacher Ranch" with his family.

Fred Malzacher was born June 26, 1937 in Denzlingen, Germany. He was a Ventura County resident founder and owner of Ventura Hydraulic & Machine Works, Inc. for 53 yrs and grower of Citrus and Avocados. Fred gave it all in everything he did from his love to his family and friends to his business, farming, hunting, fishing, politics, his love for this country, skiing and ice skating. He was good at anything he wanted to do and did many incredible things throughout his life. He loved Ventura County and living here with his family. He was knowledgeable in so many things and would read and research everything. He made friends with all the people he worked with and his customers. He was an asset to Ventura County and he will be missed dearly.

Fred is survived by his wife Elaine of 56 yrs., Santa Paula; daughter Karoline, son-in-law Dennis Connelly of Ventura, CA; daughter Katherine, son-in-law Woody Maxwell of Ventura, CA; daughter Fredricka, son-in-law Guenter Trenkle of Denzlingen, Germany; daughter Kristine of Ventura, CA; grandson Jake of Sacramento, CA; grandsons Agustus, Beck of Ventura, CA; grandson Barrett of San Jose, CA; grandsons Maximiliano, Severin, Lewis who live in Germany, granddaughter Anneliese of Ventura, CA.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday; October 27, 2018 at 10am St. Sebastian Church 235 N. 9th St., Santa Paula, CA.,with Father Pasquale Vuoso following to Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery 380 Cemetery Rd., Santa Paula, CA.
