Zachary Alexander Eschrich Obituary

Zachary Alexander Eschrich, "Alex," went home with the Lord on June 13, 2013, at the age of 23. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Alex was born in Thousand Oaks, Calif. He is survived by his parents, Leslie Orth and Zachary Eschrich; stepparents, Rob Orth and Katie Eschrich; brothers, Chris, David and Jackson; and his grandmother, Francis Gleim. He was greatly loved by his aunts and uncles, Lynn Peterson, Robert Kidd, Ted and Nancy Hunnicutt, and Shane and Dustin Brown.

Alex graduated from Westlake High School in 2008. For the past two years Alex worked as a marketing coach for a company in Camarillo. His favorite pastimes were dirt biking, snowboarding, and cooking, all of which he did in the company of those closest to him. Alex lived his life with a never ending smile on his face. He was a constant source of love and laughter. During the last six months of his life Alex showed a patience and grace of spirit that was humbling to all.

A memorial celebration will be held on June 21, 2013, 11 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church in Camarillo, Calif. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Alex's name to UCLA Jonsson Cancer Research Center or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Condolences may be left at
