Shirley Bradly Obituary

Shirley Bradly Shirley was born to Troy and Jessie Hargis on December 8, 1952 in Fresno, California. She entered eternal life surrounded by her family, in her home on January 19, 2013, at the age of 60. She leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years, Stewart Bradly. Two sons, Doug Sanderson and his Fiance Sabrina Koehler, and Michael and his wife Andee Sanderson. Six grandsons, Brandon, Bryson, Michael, Joseph, Cooper and Ethan Sanderson. Two granddaughters, Alyssa and Emilee McPhetridge. Her mother, Jessie Adams. Four sisters, Sheryl Moss, Nancy Roberts, Sheila Dykes, and Sharon Cunningham. Three brothers, Steven Hargis, Homer and William Adams. Many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father Troy Hargis, her mother-in-law Joann Werhan, her sister Janice Adams and her nephew Christopher Barnett Jr. Shirley was a very kind and loving person that had a smile and laugh that would melt anyones heart. She would do absolutely anything for her friends and family without question. Shirley was lovingly referred to as "Don Shirleon" of the family due to her being the backbone of all. Shirley was known as Nanny by all the children in her day care before she retired. She gave each child all the love she had in her heart. The family would like to extend special thanks to Elaine Young and Sabrina Koehler for all their help and love in taking care of Shirley. We would also like to thank Sandy, Pat, Nathan and Michelle of Optimal Hospice because we as a family could not have done any of this without them. A Celebration of Life for Shirley at her home on February 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at 639 North "N" Place, Tulare, California. Private burial. Condolences may be e-mailed to [email protected]

God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful. He alway's takes the best. He new you were suffering. He new you were in pain. He new that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough. And the hills were hard to climb. He closed your weary eyelids and whispered - Peace, be thine. It broke our hearts to loose you but you didn't go alone. Part of us went with you the day God called you home.
My sweet Honey, you will be missed so much. Stewart, Doug and Michael we are here for you all and we love you very much.

Dearest Stewart and Family; At night I look up to the heavens and have come to question if those dots of light that we see are really stars, maybe they aren't stars, maybe, just maybe, they are openings in heaven where the love of our Loved Ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy and we are loved. It feels like love when you look up. Stewart my friend, always keep your head up so you can feel the love when it falls upon your heart. Know if there was anyway way we could take this pain from you we would.
