John S. Rebelo

John S. Rebelo John S. Rebelo, 62, passed away on November 13, 2012. He was born on July 7, 1950 in São Bartolomeu, Terceira, Açores. In 1966 he came to Tulare, CA with his parents. John was recently retired, but worked at Lawrence Dairy in Visalia, CA for over 30 years. He was a fun, loving, good hearted man. He loved to joke around and have a good time. He loved his family, friends, and mostly his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed following his Portuguese soccer team "Porto", bullfights, Danças de Carnaval and helping out for any festa. His hobbies consisted of coin collecting, traveling the world, wine, and die cast car collecting. He was a member of TDES Portuguese Hall & LUSO American. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife Emily, sons Dennis (Leslie), Darren (Bethany) of Tulare, David of Visalia, grandchildren Derrek, Daneka, Caleb and Adalyn, sister-in-laws Ernestine Fonseca (George), Denise Monteiro of Tulare, Nephews/ Nieces Marcus Rebelo, Regina, Kimberlee Dillon, George Fonseca, Timothy Fonseca, Karlie Monteiro, and Johnny Monteiro, several Godchildren and numerous family members. Preceded in death by his parents João DaCosta Rebelo, Josefina Soares Rebelo, In-laws John and Emily Parreira, Brother Jose Carlos Rebelo and brother-in-law John Monteiro. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Miller's Tulare Funeral Home, 151 North "H" Street, Tulare, CA. Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, 10:30am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 125 East Pleasant Ave, Tulare, CA, with burial at North Tulare Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Miller's Tulare Funeral Home.
