Ann Harabedoff Ann Harabedoff, 91, of Visalia, California passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Carmichael, California surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born in Lemoore, California on May 15, 1922 to loving parents, George Piona and Donnie Kostich Piona. She was raised and educated in Armona, California. Ann married Louis Harabedoff on March 10, 1943 in Weed Patch, California. He preceded her in death in September 1972. She worked at the Visalia Unified School District as a Custodian for 26 years, retiring in 1988. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church of Visalia for many years. Ann especially enjoyed her grandchildren and times spent with family. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, fishing, children and traveling. She traveled extensively within the United States including Alaska, Hawaii and had traveled to Europe. Ann loved the outdoors and enjoyed all aspects of nature. She had a lust for life and was an advocate for senior services and civil rights. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, George and Donnie; three brothers, Manuel, Otis and Steve; and three sisters, Rosie, Patricia and Juka. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Karen Ramirez and husband, Frank of Carmichael, CA and Belane Harabedoff of Visalia, CA; two grandchildren, Angela Ramirez and husband John Strayer of Washington, DC and Francisco Ramirez of New York City, NY. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA. Recitation of Rosary will follow at 6 p.m. at the chapel with Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 N. Court in Visalia, CA. Burial will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, 11680 S. 10th Avenue in Hanford, CA immediately following services. Tributes and condolences may be made at
