Ann Gann Obituary
Ann Gann Ann Gann, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Visalia, died on October 30, 2012. She was a longtime employee of Pac Bell and AT&T for over 32 years, a longtime part-time employee of Montgomery Wards Department Store, and lastly, Ann worked as bookkeeper for Eco Chemical Company. Born Amparo Maclovia Salcedo on November 7, 1934, in Visalia, CA., she was a daughter of Francisco Salcedo and Dionisia (Grajeda) Salcedo. Ann had eleven brothers and sisters. Ann was a member of St. Mary's Women's Guild. Ann volunteered at George McCann Memorial School. She was a longtime member and volunteer of AT&T Pioneers. Ann graduated from Visalia High School in the year 1952 and attended College of Sequoias. Whether helping with her grandchildren or cooking for her beloved family, she quietly went about the tasks that needed to be done with gracious hospitality and close attention to detail for her family. Ann truly loved serving her family including her grandchildren. Ann was predeceased by three of her five sisters: Anna Salcedo, Irene Street, and Helen Dunn, and by three of her six brothers: Manuel Salcedo, Frank Salcedo, and Rudy Salcedo. She is survived by her sisters Emma Jean O'Brien and Rachel Galloway and three brothers: John Salcedo, Jessie Salcedo and Bobby Salcedo. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Ann Gann was preceded in death by her husband Morris. She is survived by five children: Dennis (son) and wife Conni, Tammy (daughter) and husband Gary, Kevin (son), Morey (son) and wife Denise, Quincy (son) and wife Mindy, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Viewing will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, from 3:30-6:30 pm with Rosary from 6:30 - 7:00 pm. A funeral Holy Mass will be offered Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial followed in Visalia Public Cemetary. Arrangements by Miller Memorial Chapel, Visalia, CA.
