Visalia - Carlinda Nichols Thomas, age 68 passed away peacefully at home May 9, 2018. She was born September 8, 1949 in North Carolina to James Aaron and Nolear Hunt. She was number 10 of 15 children. She married Scott Thomas October 16, 2003. Carlinda was a selfless devoted mother (father) and grandmother. She raised her two children by herself and did an amazing job. She was a hard worker, working two and three jobs throughout her life to provide and give extra to her family. Carlinda loved vacationing at Pismo Coast Village and fishing in places like Hume Lake. Carlinda is survived by her husband Scott; daughter Angela Sanchez and her husband Eli; son Anthony Nichols and his wife Maribell; grandchildren Eli Sanchez II, Dominic Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, Eliyah Sanchez, Jordin Nichols Sr., Lucas Nichols, Avery Rodriguez, Cameron Nichols, Elijah Nichols, Maddison Nichols, Michelle Perez; great-grandchildren Jordin Nichols Jr., Livia Souza, and Jakob Rodriguez; special sister Pat Reinhardt.; and numerous other family and friends. Please join us in a celebration of her life May 19th at 11:00AM, Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel 127 E. Caldwell Avenue, Visalia, CA. If you would like to honor her memory, please wear red it was her favorite color.
