My name is Ira Merritt and my wife's name Teresa Merritt met Dick Mills at the church we were attending. Was setting in his meeting and he called us up. And was kinda trying to figure out what is going on.
As we stood he prayed and said that we would minister to couples that God would send our way and that I would be in one room with the husband and my wife would be in another room praying with the wife. And they or marriage God would heal and bless them. This took place in August 1989 and I came to the Lord in August of 1988.

I was reading my Spirit Filled Bible on 27.8.22 which Rev Duck Mills co-authored which brought him to mind. I thought of him and googled his name and learnt he went to be with Lord in May 2012.

I sat under his teaching at Victory Christian Church, Finchley Road London.

Also welcomed him at the hotel as a representative of the church.

May His soul rest in peace.

He was a true anointed prophet of God! He 'gave out' personal words of prophecy when he was so led and they were right on. I have wondered about him for years.
He's now in the cloud of witnesses, cheering us all on!

I spoke to Rev.Mills at Christian Chapel years ago. While he was talking about a hen and her chicks, it came to me that he was worried about his daughter who was in college. I didn't even know if he had a daughter but God told me that he didn't need to worry. I went to him later in the office, with my knees shaking to tell him this. I blurted it out and turned to get out of there. He had started to say something but I waved my hand and kept going. I did here him say, as the door was closing..."God will honor you with a long life...." I am not sure that is the exact quote but I have hung onto the "long life" part with all my heart. I am going through some medical mysteries right now and those words still contort me. Rebecca Westlake

Rev. Mills spoke a word of encouragement to my heart over 30 years ago, and the Lord saw it come to fruition in my life and career. After receiving this word from Dick, I held onto it knowing that the Lord would bring it to pass. I will never forget his pure heart for Jesus.

Dearest Betty,
Years ago-(in 1959)- when you were expecting Deborah, You, Dick, David and Pauline came to our home in the summer for refreshments after service in Des Moines, Iowa during a revival you were holding at the Foursquare
Tabernacle on E. Grand Ave.
My mother was Mrs. Winona Ayres, who became a good friend of Pauline's. Later, when we moved to San Jose, California, our paths crossed at the Foursquare Church and at Calvary Community Church during the Charismatic Clinics. I am so saddened to hear of your loss, but so happy that Dick has met-up with the ONE he loved and served so faithfully.
My prayers are with you in your sorrow. May the Lord sustain you all.
David was always such a bright boy, and one time-(at the Pastor's home in San Jose after church for refreshments), I remember Dick telling him: "Now David, we're not here to conjugate verbs or decline nouns tonight!" David would 'wince' when he heard some of the church folks speak with incorrect grammar. I was about 7 years older than David, but I always felt the "need" to keep others' grammar correct, too. I talked with Dick about 20 years ago, just after I was re-married, having spent 15 years as a divorced mother of 3. He gave me a prophecy over the telephone that my husband and I are seeing "fulfilled-little-by-little" right here on our property. He said the Lord was showing him that our property would be a "City of Refuge" He then talked about great persecution that would be coming upon Christians. In 1992, that seemed "remote" to us here in CA. But... in the Bay Area, it is happening - just as the Lord prompted Dick to tell me. His many "words" to me through the years have been SO Precious. And Thank YOU for your diligence in writing the references down and giving them to thousands!
Once Again, Blessings and Comfort Abundant to you all. Most Sincerely, Judi Ayres Thompson...former Organist at Calvary Community Church in San Jose.

I had the privilege to hear Rev. Mills on a number of occasions throughout the years. He was truly an anointed man of God who demonstrated a tremendous amount of love for both the Lord and those to whom he ministered. There is great comfort in knowing that he is in the shelter Of God's presence and in the safety of His arms....
