Porterville - Emma lived many adventures in her 91 years with us. She was born in Agra Oklahoma the youngest of 5 siblings and 12 half-siblings. Emma's family survived the great depression in fashion as the demand for food from their farm stayed strong. Emma left Oklahoma at the age of 13 moving to Tennessee where she worked at a munitions factory supporting the war effort. At the age of 17, Emma & her sister moved to Tulare California where she met her Husband Addrien. They were married on July 30th and remained happily married 71 years until Addrien's passing in 2015. She was baptized and a member of the Church of the First Born.

Together Add & Emma left Tulare and moved around the state together with Add's construction job with the Interstate highway project.
