Robert Dunlap Obituary
Robert Dunlap

Visalia - Robert (Bob) David Dunlap passed away quietly on July 2, 2018. He was born on May 25, 1958 in Lynwood, California. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ancil David Dunlap and Darlene Rae Dunlap, both of Visalia, his beloved wife Shirley Dunlap and his step-son Homer Fleeman. He is survived by his son Christopher Weaver and wife TaShearra, grandsons Semaj and Sabian all of Victorville; step-daughter Shawna Fleeman of Visalia and grandchildren Krista, Zadrina, Klarissa, Jathan and Anthony; sister Connie Mattos and husband Rick of Visalia; brother Ricky Dunlap and wife Tamara of Caldwell, Idaho. He leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, friends and neighbors who will miss him deeply.

Bob grew up in Visalia and much of his spare time had been spent working on cars and he had been an avid motorcycle enthusiast all his life. He was always willing to help friends with any needed repairs or assist them with their projects. In his younger years, he worked the oil fields in Coalinga, and prior to his passing he was a retired long-haul truck driver. During his truck driving days he had traveled through much of the United States and shared many of his experiences with family members and close friends. Some of his happiest moments were spent with his canine companion Harley. There wasn't a furry friend he didn't want to adopt. He had just recently returned home to Visalia after visiting relatives in Idaho.

Private services will be held with close family and friends at a future time not yet determined. Condolences may be offered by logging onto
