Ronald McClain Obituary
Ronald Wayne McClain went home to heaven Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the age of 56 after battling liver illness. He was born in Bakersfield, California to Arminta Ann Hill McClain on February 16, 1954. He moved with his family from Bakersfield to Tulare the winter of 1966, then the family moved to Visalia the spring of 1972. He attended Tulare Western High School and obtained his GED while in the Army. He married the love of his life Cynthia Lorene McClain, August 13, 1977 at the little church on the in Three Rivers. They have resided in Visalia since that date. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cindy McClain, sons Joshua McClain, Bryon McClain, and daughter Melissa McClain of Visalia. He has left two grandchildren, his buddy Adam, two years old of Bryon and Jaymie McClain and his new sidekick, Davin, three week old son of Melissa McClain and Steve Guire. He is also survived by his father and mother Kenneth and Elaine McClain of Broken Arrow, OK, sister and brother in law Emmitt and Ronda (McClain) Bewly of Valley View, TX, brothers Kelly Reed of Wagner, OK, and sister Cecilia Wendland of Broken Arrow, OK. He is predeceased in death by his mother Arminta McClain (1981) and twin brother, Roger Neal McClain (2007). He was employed at Comcast Cable as a Cable Technician until February 5th of this year when his illness prevented him from working any longer. He enjoyed spending time with his family including his loyal dog Buddy, camping in the mountains, fishing, and riding his Harley. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Graveside service will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at Three Rivers Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Condolences may be e-mailed to
