Thetford Center, VT — Robert H. Race Passed away peacefully Sunday April 25th at DHMC in Hanover NH.

Bob was born in Lebanon NH, June 11, 1953. He grew up in Strafford VT, where he graduated from Thetford Academy in 1973. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Lillian M. Erwin, in 1975. Bob and Lillian were married for 45 years.

Bob was a very kind generous person, loved by most everyone he met. He would do anything for the people he loved. Bob was a very proud, hardworking person. Proud of his family, proud of his life. Most of all he loved to be a mechanic and drive truck as well. He had many jobs in the Upper Valley, from Decato's Trucking, Sabil and Sons Inc. Towing and Recovery, Romano Trucking, Patriots Fuels and Carrol Concrete, and many more.

Bob was a very happy go lucky person, he loved his family and friends. He loved to help out where he could. Bob was a very passionate person, although this sometimes got him into trouble. He loved playing sports with his children and grandchildren, and enjoying time in the woods hunting.

He was predeceased by wife Lillian Race, his mother and father Ada and Wendell Race. Bob is survived by his son Shane A. Race and Daughter in-law Deanna (Mitchell) Race. Daughter Amanda E. (Race) McKinney and son in-law Craig A. McKinney. Along with her three granddaughter's Krystal, Marissa, Hailey and grandson Trevor. Older Sister Anah Tuttle and Brother In-law Jr Tuttle. Younger Brother Willian Race and sister in-law Tina Race. Younger Sister Deborah Sanborn. And Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Family.

Bob was well loved and will be greatly missed.
