It’s been almost a year and yet as I sit here writing this, I’m still tearing up. Thank you for your friendship and love, we had a good run. We’ve spent endless hours camping, fishing, attending ball games, golf trips and in generaljust hanging out. Those are times we’ve spent together and memories that I’ll never forget. You’re a man of strong character and integrity, it’s funny that I’ve learned a lot about you this past year, things you’ve done for our community and things you’ve done in your career that I’ve never known about, but then, you were never one to boast. In the true sense, you let your actions speak louder than words. You’ve taught me much over the years Albert and it is appreciated, rest well my friend.
Love and miss you BuddyKris

I remember Albert from BCC back in 1971. I probably haven't seen him since then, but I am sorry that COVID has taken him from his family and friends. He was a good man that always had a warm smile on his face and had a good sense of humor.

Al, although I didn't know you well, only met and spoke to you a couple of times at the Sheriff's Retirement Luncheons, as I told you the last time we spoke, Angela is an awesome person inside and out and it is no doubt that it is because of the upbringing that you and your wife gave her. I thanked you when we first met and I introduced myself to you, as I did the last time we spoke. The first time I we spoke you were taken aback when I said who I was and that I wanted to thank you for the daughter you raised to be such an outstanding individual and one more shining light in not only dispatch but in the world. You may be gone, but I know you will never be forgotten by many. You have left at least one magnificent piece of you here in Angela and although I personally don't know your son I'm sure he is as special. I've heard only great things about you and your contributions to the department and that is not surprising when I can see for myself what you instilled by your actions to mold such a wonderful daughter. Thank you for your service, your ethics, and your dedication to your family which is apparent by the fruits of you and your wife's labor in the gems you are leaving behind to carry on your legacy. Rest in Peace Sir.

Albert was like a brother to the Aviles family. As kids we would play baseball in our backyard and football on our street. We always stood in touch. Looking back it’s hard to believe that Alberts entire immediate family is now gone. But their memory lives on every single day I go by their home where they grew up. May the Ramos family all Rest In Peace.

Albert was one of my best friends in High School. He was always there for me like following me to school in my smoking muffler car just to mk sure I got to school okay.. he was that caring. We lost touch after I married and moved away, how I wish we would hv continued our contact w each other. God Bless you Albert may we re connect in Heaven someday.. B Ramirez (Chila Aviles)
