August 19, 1956 - February 7, 2019

Bernie M. Hancock, 62 years young, was born August 19, 1956 to Kenneth and Helen Johnson of Fox River Grove, IL. She married Dan Hancock on May 26, 1988 in Raymond, MS. After multiple moves from Mississippi to Missouri to Iowa and then to Wisconsin, Bernie finally settled in the High Desert in 2003. In 2005 she joined General Atomics-ASI in Adelanto, CA where she LOVED her job and made many, many friends and memories with the people she worked with and members of the GA-ERA club. Bernie is survived by her mother Helen Johnson of Mangum, OK; 3 brothers, Al Johnson (Litchfield Park, AZ), Wayne Johnson (Monticello, WI) and Robert Hayes Jr. (Mangum, OK); 3 sisters, Cheryl McKinsey (Carpentersville, IL), Doreen Kramer (Harvard, IL) and Irene Johnson (Pace, FL); 7 children, Ray Rouse (Goodyear, AZ), Michael Rouse (Appleton, WI), Bill Hancock (Holly Springs, NC), Nathan Rouse (Bartlett, TX), Steven Hancock (Apex, NC), Kenneth Rouse (Apple Valley, CA), and Danielle (Rouse) Mariani (Colorado Springs, CO); plus 14 grandchildren.
