Don Owens
Sadly, Don Owens died on 3/19/21 due to heart complications. Don was 79 years old and lived in Apple Valley for 50 years. Don is survived by his wife of 60 years Carolea, children Dean and Teri, grandchildren Amanda and Aimee, and 5 great grandchildren Emilee, Trevor, Wyatt, Brent and Colt. Don was born in Shawnee, OK and moved to Sanger, CA in 1956. He and Carolea wed in 1961 and moved to Apple Valley in 1970. Don enjoyed a successful career in management with Contel Telephone in Victorville for 44 years. Don loved to hunt, fish, travel and could build or fix just about anything. Memorial services will be held 4/19 at 11 AM at Sunset Hills Mortuary in Apple Valley. Anyone who knew and loved Don is welcome to attend.
