Bill was such an amazing man. He was so light hearted, a joker. He could make the most uncomfortable situation, a fun one. I have so many wonderful memories of laughing with him. I know that he was such a devoted husband, father, grandfather. He was always there for his family. I hope that every family has someone anywhere close to as loving and amazing as Bill. My love to his family and so many thanks to Bill for being so sweet to me while here. Rest well, Bill.

I will most remember Bill Woods for the funny and interesting talks he shared with a big smile and a twinkle in his eye and of course, his devoted love for his family. He was a great role model as a husband and father and I respected his opinion and his ability to find comedy in just about anything. Thank you for your comical wisdom Bill and your humble service to the country. You were one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew you.

There was never a time when Bill would walk by my house and see me that he would not have a smile to give and a story to share .... Bill always would end his visit with a trivia or a joke but no matter what he ended with you too would always walk away with a smile on your face.... He will truly be missed by me
