Born on Oct. 10, 1970, in West Covina, Jesse was a 12-year resident of the Victor Valley and a lifetime resident of California. He was a professional drummer. Jesse is survived by his father, Jesse Rivera of Phelan; mother, Kathleen Rivera of Phelan; brother, Robert Rivera, his wife, Lisa, and their children, Devon and Hailey, all of Victorville; son Bryce Rivera of Elk City, Okla.; daughter, Jordan Rivera of San Diego; grandmothers, Elaine Johnson of Salt Lake City, Utah and Nettie Pearman of Victorville; along with uncles, aunts, cousins and too many friends to count. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Desert View Funeral Home, 11478 Amargosa Road in Victorville. Desert View Funeral Home is handling arrangements. To our beloved son and brother, words will never be able to truly describe the impression you left or the impact you had on your family and friends. Nothing will be able to fill the void that your passing has left in all of us. As you watch over us through our time of need, we can only hope to make you as proud of us as we all are of you. Till we meet again.
