DAVID MARTIN HARLAN
Of Richmond, VA, passed away November 21, 2015 after a short illness. David is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane Harlan; daughter, Tracey Callahan and husband, Daniel of McLean, VA; three sons, Stephen P. Harlan and wife Kimberly of Edinburg, VA, Christopher M. Harlan of Arlington, VA, and Allan D. Harlan and wife Hisayo of Fairfax, VA; four beautiful grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey, Austin and Noah; and numerous nieces and nephews. He participated in the design and build of the Washington DC Metro System, the Los Angeles Metro System, Miami Dade System, Houston's Metro Guided Rapid Transit system. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., December 3, 2015 at Bliley' Central- 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, VA 23220. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warriors Project, Make-A-Wish Foundation or the charity of your choice.

Dear Jane, Tracey, Steve, Chris and Allan,
We are very saddened to learn about the death of your beloved husband and father. Please know that we are thinking about you and praying for God's comfort and peace.
Gloria Harlan Scott, Kathryn Harlan St. Aubin, Susan Harlan Kane, Nigel Richard Harlan ll and our families and the family of Jill Harlan Foster who died on January 19, 2015. We know there is a sweet Harlan reunion in Heaven.
