On August 29, 2018, at his residence. Melvin L. Brown Sr., is survived by one son, Melvin Jr.; five sisters, Mattie M. Brown, Frances Holloway, Hattie L. Brown, Sonora Brown and Nellene Hoey; one grandson, Devin Brown and a host of other relatives and many friends. Memorial services to be held on Thursday, September 13, at 12 Noon at the St. Charles Baptist Church, 4410 Georgia Ave, NW. Rev. Eric D. Barksdale Pastor. Services entrusted to Hackett's Funeral Chapel.
