Charles C. "Jim" Haley, 89, peacefully passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013. Memorial services will be held at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria at 10 a.m., Monday, April 22. Jim was born and raised in Los Angeles, California until serving in the 75th Army Division in the European Theater of operations during WWII and later reenlisting in the Air Force for service in the Pacific Theater. Upon his return, Jim was assigned to work at the Pentagon where he spent six years and was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for Outstanding Service. After retiring from the Air Force, Jim took a position as the Assistant Director of Personnel with the AAA and ultimately working his way up to Vice President of Human Resources.
Jim is survived by his wife of 13 years, Chumi, and his sister Carlene.
