HERBERT S. LEVINSON
On Monday, November 19, 2012, Herbert S. Levinson of Bethesda, MD, passed away. Beloved husband of the late Anita (Peggy), father of Karen Levinson, Jane (Joel) Steinberg, Lisa (Michael) Garson, grandfather of Randy, Amanda, Elyssa and Ethan. Services at Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County, 8215 Old Georgetown Road, Wednesday November 21st at 1 p.m., interment to follow at Judean Gardens, Olney, MD. Family will be observing shiva at the residence of Lisa and Michael Garson Wednesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m. Contributions may be made to The Susan G Komen Foundation. Arrangements by Hines - Rinaldi Funeral Home, Inc under Jewish funeral practices committee of greater Washington contract.

As a Promenade friend, Herb was a gem. We always had a delightful conversation, a big smile, and a laugh. His energy will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

TO Herb's grandchildren, from a great friend of your grandfather, I always had good times and fond memories for over seventy years with Herb.I am sorry I was unable to see my long time friend off. I will always remember both Peggy and Herb only with fond thoughts. Herb always had a great laugh and a smile when we saw each other. WITH LOVE ALWAYS good bye Herb.

Karen, Jane and Lisa, as you grieve the passing of your Dad, please be comforted knowing that he is now in peace and no longer suffering. I am offering a mass for the repose of his soul this coming Sunday at our church, St. Mary's Church. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
