Jacob Daniel Lovelace, 34, of Springfield, Virginia, passed away peacefully with loving family at his side on Sunday morning, April 7, 2013 at Fairfax Hospital. Jacob was born in Fairfax, VA on December 6, 1978 and grew up in Alexandria, VA. He is survived by his parents, Ricky and Janet Lovelace of Springfield, VA; sister, Krystal Lovelace of Ashburn, VA, and brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Erin Lovelace of Lakeland, FL, grandmother, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and close friends.
Jacob worked as an Automotive Technician for the majority of his professional career. He enjoyed working with his hands, and had a meticulous style. Even greater than his love for tinkering was his love for family and adventures. Jacob was a giving man, always placing others before himself. He enjoyed discovering the great outdoors and often spent free time exploring and fishing in the Blue Ridge Mountains or on trails near his home.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA 22030.
