Passed away on July 23, 2012. A lifelong resident of Northern Virginia he was the son of A.R. and Constance Van de Meulebroecke of Alton Bay, New Hampshire. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Ginty Van de Meulebroecke and three children Chloe, Luke and Brody of Falls Church, Virginia, siblings Brian Van de Meulebroecke of Falls Church, Brad Van de Meulebroecke of Doha, Qatar, Cathi Coates of Berlin, MD and Nancy Parker of Ocean City, MD. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, large extended close knit family and many devoted friends. Mark was employed by the University of Maryland University College and previously by Marriot International, Sprint Nextel and Prometheus. He graduated from James Madison University and Lake Braddock Secondary School. Mark was a devoted father and will be remembered by his friends and family for his sense of fun and witty humor. Mark was an avid golfer, kayaker and skier and passionate Washington Capitals fan. A memorial mass will be offered at St. James Catholic Church 103 N. Spring St. Falls Church, VA 22046 on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NIMH by sending a check or money order payable to "The National Institute of Mental Health" addressed to National Institute of Mental Health, Gift Fund, 6001 Executive Boulevard, Room 8104, MSC 9655, Bethesda, MD 20892-9655.
