Wilma and family,
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of our dear Louis. We, your work family, will truly miss him. No one lit up a room like he did and we treasure the time that we spent with him. His optimism, kind heartedness, wit , and charm are part of his legacy that will live on in each of us that he met and touched. We are all so blessed that you, Wilma, brought him into our lives. You and family are in our thoughts and prayers. We know how very much you will miss him and we pray that memories of the wonderful times that you two spent together will sustain you. with deepest sympathy.

Louis lit up the room with his presence and was loved by all who met him. I never saw him down or depressed-he took life as it came with good spirit, which I so admired and aspired to be. He was such a good friend to me-encouraging, kind and generous when we worked together. I knew him as a talented actor, singer and natural comedian. He was always a comedic presence at our SAG meetings and brought laughter and fun to the room. I'm so sorry you lost your soul mate, Wilma, but know that it is only temporary. I'm sure Louis is watching over you now. And my dear Louis, may God bless you and keep you and make HIS face to shine upon you. (And give me some of those acting tips from beyond).

Louis was so welcoming to anyone in a room full of people who were basically unfamilar with one another. I recall his smile which seemed to burst from his heart. And his extended hand in saying hi im Louis, and you are ? evoked a greatful response. He had an eternal energy. Im pleased I got to shake that hand and see that smile. My condolences to his family. Louis was such a happy soul. Whenever I worked with him in movies he always "took over the room" with his joy of life and his wonderful wit and humor. I am so sorry for your loss, Wilma. Even though we have never met, I feel that I knew you. I will really miss him, as I know you and your family will.

I'm sorry to hear of Lou's passing. We were colleagues, as actors and songwriters. I was astonished at his talent as a performer, hearing his live album; I'm sorry I never got to see and him perform on stage. He always brought laughter to our SAG-AFTRA meeting member introductions by including updates as to how long he and his wife had been happily married. Condolences to his family and friends, I hope his passing was peaceful.

Louis was a dear man. I cannot say that of many men that I know. He was full of life and music and he will be in our hearts forever.

I don't think there was a more affable, optimistic, fun-loving man as Louis. He was a gem, always upbeat and positive. I will miss his friendship in DC, so helpful and kind, and the sense of joy he shared with us while performing around town. If only there were more Louis's in the world, what a grand place it would be! I feel so blessed that I could call him my friend. Deepest condolences, dear Wilma, I know how much he loved you. A great man may be resting in peace, but his smile and spirit are with us all. He was one in a million.

Just a few days ago, I heard Louie singing (in my head) "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat" from Guys and Dolls. Now I know why! Whilst unpacking boxes from a recent move I found his CD. I first heard him sing almost 20 years ago at Le Canard and always joyed in his presence and entertaining. Any room would come alive when he appeared. My condolences to Wilma. Rest in peace, Louie.
