Bill, or FiFi as we called him on the Lapon, was a friend for forty years. In our youth we shared a house in Hampton, Virgina, rode motorcycles, worked on cars, and survived the escapades that go along with being a fast attack submarine sailor. Love and respect are the words that describe my feelings about Bill. He will be much missed, and we will toll the ship's bell in his memory. God care for Stephanie and bless the soul of our departed friend and shipmate.
