Naomi Hall Perry
In the early morning hours of Thursday, December 24, 2020, Naomi Hall Perry (Butcher), age 89 of Washington, DC and Annapolis, MD passed peacefully at Annapolitan Assisted Living, Annapolis, MD. She was predeceased by her husbands, Ned A. Perry, Sr. and Joseph W. Butcher, Sr. She was the loving mother of three devoted children, Joseph W. Butcher, Jr. (Gayle) of Annapolis, MD, Jerome G. Butcher of Washington, DC and Naomi P. Lewis (Robert) of Crofton, MD; three cherished grandchildren, Tiffany S. Butcher, Joseph W. Butcher, III and Eliana R. Lewis; two stepsons, the late Ned A. Perry, Jr. and Winfield A. Perry, Sr. (Tamara) of Sierra Vista, AZ along with step grandchildren, Winfield A. Perry, Jr. and Lisa E. (Perry) Bickel. She was the last living child of the late Rev. Benjamin and Rosa Hall. Naomi is also survived by her dear niece, Maria A. Terrell and dear friends of many years, Inez Hill and Willa Faulkner, an abundance of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other caring and loving extended family and longtime friends. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School and Minor Teacher's College in DC and taught elementary school for many years in DC. She will fondly be remembered for her unconditional love, grace, kindness, loyalty, patience, and fondness for her summer home on the Chesapeake Bay.
