A long time person involved in Burtonsville Softball

October 8, 2007

Barb and Family,
I read this in the post I was very sadded. John was a great person, and did many things for the boys and girls that live in Burtonsville. His active roll in girls softball, was just great. He made every one involved feel that they really mattered. I know this is a great loss to you and your children, and my thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Take care of yourself and may god be with you and your family during this time

Mollie and I have enjoyed a wonderful friendship with Barbara and John over the years. I remember when John first came to the bank, when you anounced your plans to get marry, the story of your trip down the Potomac on innertubes, John playing Santa Claus at the Christmas party and many, many more good memories.

We are so sorry that John went through a lot of suffering, but he is at peace with Our Lord. Please accept our condolences and forgive us for not being there for the wake and the memorial service. However, we will be there in spirit and our prayers and thoughts go out to you, Barbara, Jason and Rebecca.

Barbara, Jason, and Becky,

My memories of John will always be good ones. The ski trips, when I was kidnapped in your trailer and just the general clowning around. My prayers are with you all.
