MICHAEL ABBELL
On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, Michael Abbell of Bethesda, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones. Beloved husband of the late Joyce S. Abbell; loving father of Joshua (Amy) of Philadelphia, PA, Zachary (Jamie) of Forest Hills, NY and Alexander (Kim) of Paradise Valley, AZ; dear brother of Miriam Rosenblum of Jerusalem, Israel, Ruth Ben- Yehuda of Tel Aviv, Israel; cherished grandfather of Julian, Mikayla, Jackson, and Ella. Also survived by his loving companion, Sarah Friedman of Washington, DC. He also will be missed by his loyal, four-legged friend, Dillon. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 25 at 10 a.m. at Garden of Remembrance, Clarksburg, MD. The family will be receiving visitors following services and observing Shiva at the Abbell residence starting Sunday, November 25 through Tuesday, November 27 from 3 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to the American Association for Cancer Research, aacr.org. Arrangements by Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, LLC under Jewish Funeral Practices Committee of Greater Washington contract.
