Gloria Massie Obituary
Noted Educator, Columnist and Socialite
On January 22, 2005; loving wife of Dr. Samuel P. Massie, Jr.; mother of James, Herbert and Trei; grandmother of J. Proc, Justin, Jodi, Victoria, Christina and Sam; great-grandmother of Jada; sister of James Thompkins and Robert Bentley. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 28 at Reese & Sons Mortuary, 821 West St., Annapolis, MD 21401. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 29, 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Church Circle, Annapolis. Interment St. Anne's Cedar Bluff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Philips Episcopal Church Building Fund, 522 Main St., Laurel, MD 20707.
