Like many others I had the privilege of serving under General Griffith's command in the 1st Armored Division. He always challenged us to achieve a high standard in all our duties. Later I worked with him once again at MPRI. He had a significant impact on my life. A great leader. A great American. I offer my sincere condolences to his family.

I knew Ron when he was first promoted to Major when we were neighbors in Santa Barbara, CA. He was a fine and caring young man and father. It has been a privilege to follow his career and family. I send heartfelt condolences to Hurdis and the entire family.
