My prayers go out to my family whom I love dearly. Uncle Edward was one who touched everybody's life. We will miss him very much but through love, memories, family, friends and prayers this will strengthen us and get us through the storm.

We'll bet you've had about enough
of people telling you how strong you are
and how great you're doing during
this awful, difficult period in your lives. . .
Maybe you'd rather hear someone say
how much much this sucks, how outrageous
and unfair it is.

Maybe you'd rather hear
Someone tell you that you don't
have to be strong all the time,
or that it's definitely okay
to curse fate and throw
a tantrum or two.

So here we are to tell you
all that stuff and more,
to let you know where we stand,
which is right in your corner.
There's no right or wrong way
at a time like this.

However you work through this thing
is of concern to us.
All we care about is that
you ask for what you need,
lean on those who love you
and try to trust us when we say
that you'll come out with a
better understanding of the fate
we all must inevitably face

Uncle Edward was a Great Uncle and family patriarch. He was a man that demanded your attention with his presence and spirit. Uncle Ed was role model for many of us and always stressed the importance of education. Uncle Ed was also a great support system for our family no matter the season. He was a very important part of my life and without him it would not have been the same. Thank you Beverly & Bubba for sharing him with me and the rest of our family. We will miss him more than words can explain. May the peace of God comfort you today and the days that lie ahead.
