GARY MICHAEL ROSENTHAL
On Friday, May 26, 2023 GARY MICHAEL ROSENTHAL of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of Marta Goldsmith. Loving father of Reuben Rosenthal (Anna Rieper) and Sophie Rosenthal. Dear brother of Dale Rosenthal (Michael Cutler), and brother-in-law of Ileane Rosenthal (the late Donald), Cory Begner (Alan), Kim Goldsmith (Dave Johnson) and Abby Goldsmith (Dr. Kevin Hendler). Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023, 10 a.m. at the gazebo, at the Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Shiva will be observed at the family home on Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m. and a virtual shiva on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan). Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of going to a design workshop that Gary ran. He was so friendly and opened up his studio to the public with open arms to share his craft. He also spoke about how he employed autistic people. What a beautiful soul may his memory be a blessing!

Gary has been such a great boss over the years. The lengths in which he went to make sure the workplace was full of friendship at the end of the day was inspiring to say the least. To have Gary as my boss for the past 10 years has been a privilege. He will be deeply missed but always in our thoughts at GRC.

My deepest sympathy. I´m a cousin of Marta´s - my grandmother (Helen Cone) and Carolyn are first cousins. My dad also died from pancreatic cancer. May his memory be a blessing.

My deepest condolences to his entire family. I will always remember seeing The Godfather with him, his brother and future sister-in-law Ileane. And then seeing him decades later in Georgia. Such a great human being.
