Harry was a wonderful friend: a genuine "old-school" mensch! I think of him frequently, as well as his dear, sweet wife Flory, who is thankfully still among the living and a Sephardic iconic musical treasure, known throughout the world. "They" don't seem to make people like that anymore!!

Harry was one of the finest men I ever met - I enjoyed sitting and talking with him about his experiences growing up & WWii. He will be missed by so many people he interacted with!

We are so very, very sorry. How wonderful that he enjoyed his 100th birthday with so many friends. I will always remember him and his wonderful friendship with my parents. As he would say, a real mensh. We are in Vermont, but will be in touch when we get home. With all possible love, Gerry and Diane Rogell
