ROBERT LOWMAN Obituary
Robert Benjamin Lowman "Bob" (Age 73)
Passed away November 15, 2018 at his home in Silver Spring, MD. He was born in Washington, DC and attended High Point High School in Beltsville, MD. Bob served in the Army before working for C+P Telephone Company until retirement. Bob was known for his affection for antique Cadillacs, country music, Friday Night Bowie Dances, and yard sales with life sized Daisy Duke and longhorn steer statues. Bob enjoyed talking with everyone. "Cadillac Bob" and his car collection were featured in the Washington Post, March 1993. The Baltimore Sun and The Journal printed articles about Bob and his cars in 1995. Bob is survived by his wife, Susan Gunnell, his children, Wayne Lowman and Linda Bendit, grandchild, Amanda Lowman, siblings James Lowman and Dottie (Ralph) Dale, nieces, Shirley Royal, and Mary Zevely, nephews, Kevin Lowman and Scott Lowman. His first marriage to Carol Robertson ended in divorce. Bob was the son of Irene and Benjamin Lowman. The family and friends will celebrate Bob's life at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd West, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, November 24, with a visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Bob, you have been apart me all of my life. We shared good times, sad times and laughed a lot. You were always there to cheer me up, pick me up and always held an open heart.
