DEVAR BATTLE  
Suddenly on September 28, 2013, went to be with the Lord. Beloved husband of Charon Battle; devoted father of Devar, Jr., Deandre, Deon and Delonte Battle; loving son of Agnes Sherman and the late John Battle; brother of John Battle, Jasper Phelps and the late Deborah Battle. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Service will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 3600 Brightseat Rd., Landover, MD. Visitation 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. Pastor John Jenkins, officiating. Interment Heritage Cemetery, Waldorf, MD. Services by FREEMAN.
