ERNEST NUSSBAUM (Age 89)  
On Wednesday January 11, 2017, husband of Patricia Pothier and brother of Charlotte Isler, passed away due to multi-drug resistance bacterial infection. He was born in Stuttgard, Germany and came to the U.S. in 1938. He was a graduate as a civil engineer from the Cooper Union. He was ardent amateur cellist and developed and built the "Practicello", a light-weight, take-apart cello, popular among travelling string quartet players. Memorial services to be annouced at a later date.

Dear Antigone, I am so sorry to learn, belatedly, about Ernie's passing. His memory as a generous and resourceful friend will remain with me forever. Let there be favorable winds wherever his boat is headed now!
