MARGOLIUS BERNARD MARGOLIUS On Sunday August 1, 2010, Bernard Margolius, age 96, of Chevy Chase, Maryland and Pompano Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully. Beloved husband of Lilyan Boxer Margolius for seventy-four years, devoted father of Philip Margolius (Phyllis), Joan Cherner (Jerry), Alan Margolius (Denese); cherished grandfather of David Margolius (Iris), Kenneth Margolius, William Karlin (Toni), Michael Karlin (Ann), Jennifer Fisher (Jimmy) and Erica Margolius. Adored great grandfather of Jacob, Nicole, Benjamin, Rose, Dov, Ma''ayan, Ro''i, Noa, Jesse and Jocelyn. Also survived by loving brother Julian Savage (Nancy) and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at B''nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, Maryland at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Interment will follow immediately at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, Maryland. Shiva will be observed at the home of William and Toni Karlin, from Wednesday until 3pm Friday, with services at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Contributions may be made to B''nai Israel Congregation, Suburban Hospital Foundation or a charity of one''s choice.
