BESSIE K. AHIOURIS
Fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born on January 8, 1922 in Toledo, OH to Helen and Vlasios Krithis. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Ahiouris, loving mother of Audrey Jalepes (late George), the late Helen Charuhas (Peter), the late Conni Kanaris (late Alex) and the late Cathy Duble, devoted sister of Kathryn Campbell (late James), the late Mary Viezis (late Kosta), the late Steve Krithis (Freda) and the late infant George Krithis. She was predeceased by two of her grandchildren, Gina and Taki Charuhas. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 701 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, MD 20905 on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church at the above address or to the Alzheimer's Association, 108 Byte Drive, Suite 103, Frederick, MD 21702.
