CARRIE LEE JONES HARRIS (Age 80)  
Of Ft. Washington, MD, peacefully transitioned on April 17, 2021. Born on July 28, 1940 in South Hill, VA, she is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Henry Harris and daughter Jacqueline "Jackie" Blevins. Loving mother of Sharon (Michael) Saunders, Jan Harris and Faye (Floyd) Tibbs. Nana of Jether (DeAndrea), Lamont, Jarvis, Justice, and two great-grandchldren, Dailyn and Jether, III. Also survived by one godson, Brandon McNeil; two brothers, Willie (Ronetta) Little and Melvin (Jackie) Little; and sister, Renay Little Timmons; four bonus daughters and one bonus son, Paula Royal, Brittany McNeil-Cross, Grindl LeGrand and Debra Wilkinson and Gillian Williams, as well as a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Family will receive friends at wake on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Pope Funeral Home, 5538 Marlboro Pk., Forestville, MD 20747 from 5 to 7 p.m. Private viewing and service on Monday, May 3 at Ebenezer AME Church, 7707 Allentown Rd., Ft. Washington, MD 20744. Family visitation 10 a.m. Service 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest at National Harmony Memorial Park, Landover, MD. Social distancing in effect and masks required.
