Christian Guerreiro, IT2 - IW, US Navy, lived by the Scout oath [] and Navy attributes. He was always willing to help someone in need - he succumbed to injuries sustained, while helping his friend. Christian was a very kind, loving, giving and funny person - he loved to ham it up with his friends and enjoyed making others laugh.
His parents constantly encouraged his son to be kind, and giving. While in scouting, he learned to appreciate how he could lead and teach others how to succeed, and climb to the next rank. Perhaps this is why he felt obligated to serve.
Tragically, he was taken from us by a hit and run driver on the eve of Wednesday, August 1st, on the Northbound side of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Any witnesses to the accident are asked to call the Maryland State Police with any information they may have. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Alexandria, Virginia. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mothers against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.),
